Port Alberni is our western run — a direct highway connection from the Courtenay base via Highway 4. It's also our gateway for work continuing toward the west coast, making the Alberni Valley a natural part of our regular coverage rather than a special trip.
Common questions
Is LiDAR worth it for forested Alberni Valley properties?+
Usually, yes. Photogrammetry alone maps the canopy, not the ground — and most Alberni parcels carry serious canopy. LiDAR penetrates to bare earth, which is why it's typically our first recommendation for large or vegetated sites in the valley.
Can you work on active industrial sites?+
Yes. We coordinate with site operations, follow facility safety requirements, and schedule fieldwork around production rather than expecting production to pause for us.
Do you cover areas west of Port Alberni?+
Port Alberni is our staging point for west-coast work. Projects toward Tofino and Ucluelet are quoted individually because access and weather drive the plan — but the answer is generally yes, we go there.
