As-Built Surveys

The discipline is timing: the cheapest as-built measurement is the one taken while the trench is still open. We build pickups into the construction rhythm so nothing gets buried unmeasured.

Can you as-built work that's already buried?+
Partially, surface evidence and records get us some of the way. The honest answer is that pre-backfill measurement is irreplaceable, which is why we push to schedule pickups during construction rather than reconstruct afterward.
